Near the winding channel of the Verke River, on the border of moorland and woodland, a stone's throw north of Brösarp, is a small collection of houses called Torparebron, an exquisite example of the type of settlement that emerged in the 19th century, where hillbillies, servants, crofters and crofters were housed in simple houses.
The environment in Torparebron is still genuinely charming. Proximity to the new bus stop and the Skåneleden hiking trail and Brösarp station for the museum railway Brösarp–St Olof makes accessibility very good. Skåneleden, Verkeån downstream leads to the outlet at Haväng where there is the possibility of marvellous swimming.
Brösarp has many types of service, such as a school, nursing home, inn, grocery stores, café, sports ground, pizzeria, petrol station, pharmacy, medical centre and dentist.
Bus connections to Simrishamn, Ystad and Kristianstad are available from the stop at Brinkehem.
