Järstorps

The closest slightly larger neighbour of the small village of Järstorp is Illstorp on the road between Christinehof and Önneköp.

The settlement consists of farms and individual houses set out in the terrain, where forest alternates with arable land. The beautiful Verkeån river flows through the area, a locality for trout, stone loach, dragonfly, white-tailed godwit, kingfisher and common tern.

The nearest town with a school and services is Brösarp, just under a mile and a half to the east. There are also good bus connections northwards to Kristianstad, eastwards to Simrishamn and southwards towards Ystad. Kristianstad Airport in Everöd is just half an hour's drive from Järstorp.
