At Kivik Art Centre, you'll find yourself at the intersection of sculpture, architecture and nature. Here, sharp architectural forms interact with rolling landscapes and ideas about the role of nature in our future lives.
In addition to displaying large sculptural constructions created by artists/architects, Kivik Art Centre has an annual programme of temporary exhibitions during the summer months. This creates a dynamic dialogue between art, architecture and nature. The temporary artworks/meetings/actions give us the opportunity to look at our surroundings and daily life from different perspectives.
This year's temporary exhibition has the theme Utopia/Dystopia, and Kivik Art Centre has invited four people to explore the subject together:
- Rina Eide Løvaasen, transdisciplinary artist, born 1988 in Porsgrunn, Norway. Lives and works in Malmö, Sweden. www.rinaeidelovaasen.com
- Rahel Belatchew, architect, born 1969 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Lives and works in Stockholm. www.belatchew.com
- Klorofyll Collektive, (Agata Bielska and Emma Olevik), a collaboration between artist and plant expert Agata Bielska and writer and grower Emma Olevik. www.klorofyll-collective.net
The exhibition runs from 28 June to 21 September 2025 and the park is open all year round.
