Does your house need renovating or refreshing this summer? Are you looking for a colour that is also suitable for mud house construction? Casein and sludge paint is a sustainable and biodegradable product that fits into an environmentally friendly home and construction. In your fridge and pantry, you often have good and cheap ingredients that have traditionally been used for colour.
In this course we focus on lime casein paint and boiled sludge paint on rye flour (type Falu red paint). The colour is determined by the pigment you use, in the course it will be non-toxic earth pigments.
The colours are often fully diffused and give a beautiful matt appearance. In order for the result to be good and desired, a little prior knowledge is required when using environmentally friendly simple plastic-free paints without additives.
Lime casein paint is also suitable for clay house building, as you will see during the course.
In addition to making your own paint, you will learn about the material, which substrates are suitable, which brushes, which pigments and a lot more.
