Then this is the cookery course for you! Peder Lamm and Mia Gröndahl have selected the best and most exciting recipes from Cajsa Warg's and Gustaf Abraham Piper's cookery books from the 18th century. Together with twenty participants, you will cook a fantastic 18th century dinner that is a delight for both the eye and the palate.
This is what the course includes:
- Two days of cooking 30 - 31 July with Peder and Mia, interspersed with lectures on 18th century cuisine, ingredients, meals, feasts & etiquette, and on the cookbook authors Cajsa Warg and Gustaf Abraham Piper.
- On the evening of 31 July we enjoy the prepared dishes in a festive 18th century dinner in the castle's old baroque dining room. During dinner we will be treated to music and entertainment. After the meal, dance master John Wickman awaits us in the main hall and teaches us to control our feet gracefully and beautifully in 18th century dances.
- We can promise you a memorable evening in the 18th century!
- The cookery course takes place in the Crown Deer in the castle courtyard.
The lectures and banquet will take place in the castle.
